About Stitchin With Samantha
Hi! My name is Samantha - The one you've been Stitchin With!
My family and I currently reside in the Hill Country of Central Texas. I am a Wife, Mom, and Christian. I love iced coffee, home decorating, thrift shopping, hanging out with my amazing husband and lovely daughter, and of course, all things hand embroidery!
I grew up learning hand-embroidery from my mother and grandmother at at around 7-8 years old.
I would help them embroider simple patterns on fabric squares that my mom and grandma would then make into patchwork baby blankets for new moms in our hometown church in Northwest Arkansas.
I forgot about the craft, and it wasn't until 2019 that I rediscovered the craft in the form of modern hand-embroidery.
I started creating my own embroidery designs and patterns and launched "Stitchin With Samantha" when I started selling at a local craft store.
After moving to Central Texas, I started an Etsy shop at the beginning of 2021 and started selling embroidery products, supplies, kits, and tutorials online.
I welcomed by rainbow baby, Olive, at the beginning of 2023. I fell in love with making her special keepsakes and this breathed new life into my small business. As a mom it brings me SO much joy to make things for my daughter. Many patterns and tutorials in my shop were inspired by projects I made for her!
While I sell a wide range of products, I continue to have a special passion for creating patterns and tutorials that help others make timeless keepsakes for themselves, their kids, and their family members.
